These days, the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" talked about the future of digital security.
The webinar "Transformation of the Cyber Defense System of Ukraine: from KSZI to Security Authorization and Professional Certification of Specialists" brought together more than 230 participants - from managers to IT specialists and cybersecurity experts.
The organizers - the Regional Training Center of Kharkiv Aviation Institute and the Qualification Center of the State Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies - joined forces with the support of the departments of the State Special Communications Service in Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions.
Key insights from the meeting:
- Representatives of the State Special Communications Service and the university emphasized the transition to modern approaches - in particular, a risk-oriented model and professional certification according to NIST and ISO standards.
- Participants discussed changes in legislation, new requirements for specialists and the role of qualification confirmation in ensuring the stability of the system.
- Special attention was paid to practical aspects of cyber defense and advanced training programs implemented at Kharkiv Institute of Information Technology.
The event became a platform for exchanging experiences, discussing solutions and strengthening interaction between the university, government agencies and the professional community. It also provided an opportunity to develop practical solutions to improve the security of Ukrainian cyberspace today.
