There are two axioms.
The first is that KhAI and Turku University of Applied Sciences are united by long-standing friendship and fruitful cooperation.
The second is that true friends are always recognized in times of need.
Back in November, we told you how the KhAI delegation was hospitably received at Turku University of Applied Sciences. Work is underway to create a joint double degree program, and new opportunities are opening up for KhAI students and postgraduates to join international projects and practically-oriented research.
In these days, when, after enemy attacks on the energy infrastructure of the Kharkiv region, KhAI lives, teaches, and works in conditions of constant, multi-hour power outages, our Finnish friends have donated four EcoFlow charging stations with a capacity of 1.8 kW each to the university.
The hour of need, in which friends lend a shoulder, is not about paper reports, loud words, or signed memoranda. This is what true friends and partners do - caring people who feel someone else's pain as their own.
From the entire KhAI team, we sincerely thank Turku University of Applied Sciences, especially Mika Luimula and Karri Mikkonen, as well as the YFF (Your Finnish Friends) association, for their support, solidarity, and true partnership.
