February 24 is a date that is forever in the heart of each of us.
Forever in the history of KhAI.
From the first day when Khai shelters sheltered hundreds of students and local residents — along with pets and the things that they managed to snatch from the apartments that terrible morning.
From the first messages we sent to each other.
Short. Anxious. Without belief in their reality.
From the unprecedented courage of university employees — those who, under shelling, extinguished fires, eliminated damage, saved property, provided assistance, supported each other. Clung on. And held on to others.
From almost 200 hits on the territory in the spring of 2022 alone…
To this day — when KhAI lives. Works, teaches, maintains order. Under bombs, under the shaheeds, burrowing underground — into a shelter where you can spend time and do science.
All this — today in the Exhibition Hall of KhAI.
An exhibition prepared by the Student Club of the university with the active participation of teachers, students, and employees.
Because it is their photographs that are being exhibited today on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion.
Debris from bombs and missiles that flew over Khai. Unique photo documents. Memories. And a moment of silence — for everyone who was taken by this war.

This is a place about tears, about memory, but most importantly — about an incredible sense of strength.
