On May 18, the closing ceremony of the University Cup for Programming UCUP-2026 took place at the Yermilov Center.
UCUP is a traditional and important event for the academic and student community of Kharkiv, which annually unites young people, teachers, scientists and university representatives around modern IT education, algorithmic thinking, teamwork and professional development.
The format of this year's Cup added special significance - all events took place offline in Kharkiv. It was not just a competition, but a space for live communication, exchange of experience, new acquaintances and support for talented youth.
During the month, participants competed in three areas:
- Prompt Evolution - solving algorithmic problems without writing code;
- Game Jam - a game development marathon;
- Human Code - the final competition in sports programming.
KhAI students represented the university with dignity and won prizes:
