On May 28, 2026, the "World Without Barriers" training organized by the Kharkiv branch of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center took place at the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" as part of the National Barrier-Free Week.
The speaker of the event was psychologist Tetyana SALNIKOVA, who emphasized the importance of the formation of a barrier-free society, the development of a culture of mutual understanding, support and tolerant communication in the educational and social environment.
During the training, participants discussed topical issues of psychological support and mutual understanding, overcoming internal and social barriers, developing effective communication, and creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all members of society.
In addition to the theoretical part, the participants had the opportunity to perform an interesting practical task aimed at developing interaction skills, empathy, teamwork and awareness of the importance of barrier-free communication in modern society.
Special attention was paid to the role of higher education institutions in the formation of a human-centered approach, support of persons with special educational needs, and introduction of barrier-free principles into the educational process.
