DAAD Training Programme "Micro-Credentials as an Internationalisation Tool for Ukrainian Universities"

The National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" (KhAI) is expanding its international cooperation and upholds the highest standards of higher education.

We are honoured to join the prestigious DAAD training programme "Micro-Credentials as an Internationalisation Tool for Ukrainian Universities", hosted by Leibniz University Hannover.

Viktor Bereznyi, Lead Specialist of the Department of International Relations, represents KhAI in this programme. Ahead lies a year of intensive work (from October 2026 to September 2027) on implementing the project: Transforming Guest Lectures into Micro-Credentials: Activating Dormant International Partnerships. Its goal is to make guest lectures an effective tool for activating international partnerships.

Work on the project will be proceeding in close collaboration with the university community and actively supported by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations Mikayil Garayev and Head of the Department of International Relations Alina Matskevych.

We are grateful to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) for the funding provided within the framework of the "German-Ukrainian University Network" programme and the opportunity to adopt the best European practices.
