Where does the path to great science begin? Probably, with the first surprise. From children's questions: how does it work? Why is it like this? And what will happen if we try differently? It is from such simple "whys" that great science is born.
Perhaps it was during an excursion to the laboratory of electron microscopy, optics and laser technologies of KhAI that the 5th grade students of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 100 made an important choice for themselves for years to come.
Who knows? Perhaps right now a future Nobel Prize laureate or a general designer of aviation and space technology is carefully looking into the microscope. It is with the help of such equipment
that materials and metals from which airplanes, rockets and other high-tech equipment are created are studied.
But that day everything was much simpler - and at the same time extremely interesting! Schoolchildren examined insects under a microscope, studied the structure of cells, compared the structure of different substances and discovered for themselves an amazing microworld that exists next to us, but remains invisible without special devices.
Bright emotions and new impressions were a wonderful start to the summer holidays.
And there are still many new discoveries ahead, because each excursion to Khai is an opportunity to see science up close and, perhaps, find your life's work.
