The report, which was released on the official channel of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on May 21, is about the modern equipment that KhAI students are already working on today.

As part of the joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Bank “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results,” Ukrainian universities are gaining access to modern technologies that are shaping a new engineering education.

At the National Aerospace University “KhAI”, students work with the Haas ST-20 turning center and the Haas VF-2 vertical machining center — modern machine tools with numerical program control. It is this equipment that is used today in high-precision mechanical engineering, aviation, and high-tech industries.

This is no longer training for the future.

This is working with technologies that are currently determining the competitiveness of modern production.

Machine tools make it possible to automate complex processes, quickly reconfigure production for new tasks, and minimize the impact of the human factor. And most importantly, KhAI students acquire practical skills, without which it is impossible to imagine a modern engineer today.

The equipment is also actively used by graduate students and scientists - for research, experiments and the creation of new technological solutions.
