On July 3, the Department of Economics and Public Administration of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" successfully defended dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in specialty 281 "Public Management and Administration".
This event became a landmark for the department, as these were the first defenses of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in this specialty.
During the public defense, the following successfully presented their scientific research:
- Elvira SEIDOVA-BOGOSLOVSKA - dissertation on the topic "Public Administration in the Field of Digitalization of the Activities of Local Self-Government Bodies";
- Vadim KUSHNIKOV - dissertation on the topic "Management of State Information Security in Conditions of Hybrid Threats".
The scientific supervisors of the dissertations were Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor Veronika KOVALCHUK and Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Professor Andriy DEGTYAR.
The presented studies are devoted to the topical issues of the development of public administration in the conditions of modern challenges. They cover the areas of digital transformation of the activities of local government bodies and ensuring the information security of the state in the conditions of hybrid threats.
