The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has begun accepting projects for competitive selections of fundamental and applied scientific research, as well as scientific and technical (experimental) developments, which will be financed from the state budget in 2027.
The first stage of the competition lasts until August 6, 2026.
The deadline for submitting documents is August 6 at 13:00 (Kyiv time).
What's new and interesting this year?
The single digital platform URIS.
All stages — from submitting an application to examination and project support — take place through the National Electronic Scientific Information System. This is another step towards the complete digitalization of science management in Ukraine.
Support for front-line universities.
Among the innovations is support for higher education institutions and scientific institutions from front-line and border regions. For Khai, which continues to conduct scientific research in Kharkiv even in wartime, this opens up additional opportunities for the implementation of promising projects.
Updated competition rules.
The competition is held according to the new Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Science, which introduce more transparent evaluation procedures, clear selection criteria, and increase attention to the quality and practical value of research.
Focus on the result.
Priority will be given to projects that not only have a high scientific level, but also contribute to the development of new technologies, the economic recovery of Ukraine, and the solution of urgent state tasks.
The National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" calls on scientists and research teams of the university to actively participate in the competition and present their promising research projects.
Detailed information on the conditions of participation, required documents, and the submission procedure is available on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
