During the lecture, Ms. Sofia spoke about the most interesting pages of the history of astronomy, shared the achievements of modern science and reminded how closely astronomy is connected with other branches of knowledge. She presented the most important achievements of astronomical science of the 21st century, the main methods of studying modern space, and also shared her own experience of scientific travels in Europe and talked about her research projects.
Most importantly, the audience was maximally involved in the conversation. The audience asked questions ranging from “What is matter and energy in space?” to “Do UFOs really exist in our galaxy?” Sofia Ivanovna answered all of them with the enthusiasm of a true scientist, turning the lecture into a lively and fascinating dialogue about the secrets of the Universe.
