On the occasion of Kharkiv Day and Independence Day of Ukraine, a solemn ceremony of awarding university employees was held at the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute".
During the meeting of the rectorate, the rector of Kharkiv Aviation Institute Oleksii LYTVYNOV, to the applause of those present, congratulated and recognized colleagues whose daily work is an important part of the life of the university.
The following received awards for the best curators of Kharkiv Aviation Institute at the end of the 2025–2026 academic year:
Kateryna MAYOROVA — Faculty of Aircraft Engineering;
Oleksandr GNITKO — Faculty of Aircraft Engines;
Dmytro SOKOL — Faculty of Intelligent Control Systems;
Kateryna MSALLAM — Faculty of Rocket and Space Engineering;
Viktoriya DUZHA — Faculty of Radio Electronics, Computer Systems and Infocommunications;
Evgeniya SOKOLOVA — Faculty of Software Engineering and Business;
Oksana KULIKOVA — Faculty of Humanities and Law.
Another important moment of the ceremony — the presentation of diplomas to doctors of philosophy (PhD). Documents on obtaining a scientific degree were received by Valeria TURSKY, Elvira SEIDOVA-BOGOSLOVSKY, Serhiy KRYGIN and Oleksiy PUSHYLIN.
For many years of work, significant achievements, high professionalism, exemplary performance of official duties and a significant contribution to the development of education and science, the following were awarded the KhAI thanks:

Viktoriya BURDEINA — associate professor of the Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering;

Anastasiya DEREVIANKO — specialist of the marketing and branding department of the Center for Strategic Development and Public Positioning;
Aida ZHUVAK — leading specialist of the office management and archive department;
Natalia KOTLYAR — head of the laboratory of the Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering;
Olena MKRTYCHYAN — senior lecturer of the Department of Management and Business Administration;
Olga ODOKIENKO — specialist-psychologist of the 1st category of the Department of Educational Work of the Center for Education Quality, Licensing and Accreditation;
Tetyana SHEVCHENKO — engineer of the 1st category of the Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering.
