The National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" is conducting an election process to elect a rector in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 465-k-25 dated 03.12.2025. The university is entering the final phase of an open discussion of candidates' programs.
One of the important components of this campaign was direct meetings with candidates for the position. This is a space for a professional conversation, specific questions, and a meaningful discussion of the future development of the university.
On February 24, in the hall of the Academic Council, a final meeting was held in a mixed format as part of the election campaign of the candidate for the position of rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksiy LYTVYNOV, with the scientific and pedagogical staff of the University and the Professional College of Information Technologies of KhAI.
The candidate began the conversation with a principled position: "People are the main asset of KhAI."
That is why the main part of the meeting was devoted to the issues that concern the collective the most today: the return of teachers from abroad, support for young scientists, the development of dual education, the expansion of scientific research and the university's more active participation in international and national projects.
Oleksiy LYTVYNOV presented the priority strategic steps and outlined a long-term vision for the development of the university, based on his own 2.5-year experience as acting rector.
The meeting took place in an open and constructive atmosphere. The dialogue once again confirmed: the main value of KhAI is its people, and the future of the university is formed through shared responsibility and professional conversation.
