National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" confirmed its scientific positions by entering the TOP-30 higher education institutions of Ukraine according to the results of the rating formed on the basis of data from the international scientometric database Scopus.
In the Scopus 2026 ranking, KhAI took 24th place among Ukrainian universities.
The ranking is formed according to one of the key indicators of scientific activity - the Hirsch index (h-index), which reflects both the number of publications by scientists and the level of their citation in the global scientific space.
According to the updated data:
- KhAI has thousands of scientific publications in international publications;
- the total number of citations exceeds 24 thousand;
- the university's Hirsch index demonstrates positive growth dynamics.
The Scopus ranking is an important indicator of the effectiveness of scientific activity of universities. It testifies to the active research work, integration into the global scientific community, and the strength of the KhAI scientific schools.
