A scheduled inspection of fire hydrants and fire water supply systems took place at KhAI. What once might have seemed like a purely formal procedure has today become an integral part of the life of a front-line university.
KhAI does not know what enemy airstrikes are from the news - more than 200 hits in the spring of 2022 alone...
The enemy strike and the burned half-century-old Christmas trees near the main building on April 6 still remain in the memory of the university community this spring.
Concerns that have long become part of everyday reality.
That is why the university takes the utmost responsibility for the serviceability of fire protection, fire extinguishing and external water supply systems. Regular maintenance, checking the pressure, technical condition and readiness of equipment are not for reporting, but a matter of real safety of people, educational buildings and university infrastructure.
Head of the Labor Protection Department of KhAI Oleksandr DANILIN, together with specialists from the 27th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, conducted a comprehensive inspection and confirmed the serviceability of the systems and the readiness of the equipment to work in the event of an emergency.
These are the realities of life at a winged university in a front-line hero city.
Realities in which safety is a requirement of wartime.
We thank everyone who keeps the safety component of KhAI at a reliable level every day.
