On May 28, at the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute", the public defense of Vyacheslav NAZARENKO's thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy took place. The defense took place in the format of an online conference.
The topic of the research is "Investigation of the stress-strain state of the elements of the rotor of turbogenerators in order to substantiate the increase in strength by three-dimensional modeling methods." The work is devoted to increasing the reliability and durability of turbogenerator elements using modern three-dimensional modeling methods.
The scientific supervisor of the dissertation work is the head of the Department of Aerohydrodynamics of the KhAI (101), Doctor of Technical Sciences Oleksiy TRETYAK.
According to the results of open voting, the one-time specialized academic council unanimously decided to award Vyacheslav NAZARENKO the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in field of knowledge 13 "Mechanical Engineering" with specialty 134 "Aviation and rocket and space engineering".
During a full-scale war, every successful defense of a dissertation is a testament to the stability of Ukrainian science. Despite all the challenges, young scientists continue research, create new knowledge and work on technologies important for the development of the state and its future.
