A public defense of Mykola BUTKEVYCH's dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) took place at the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute.”
The topic of the dissertation research is “Models, Methods, and Information Technology for Time Series Forecasting of Epidemic Processes.”
The research supervisor is Dmytro CHUMACHENKO, Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Artificial Intelligence (304).
During the defense, the applicant presented the results of his scientific work dedicated to creating models, methods, and information technology for forecasting epidemic processes — an area of vital importance for the development of modern information technologies, data analysis, and decision support in healthcare.
Based on the discussion, the single specialized academic council decided to award Mykola BUTKEVYCH the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 12 “Information Technologies” in specialty 122 “Computer Science.”
