A team of young scientists from KhAI, together with Khmelnytskyi National University, was awarded the highest state scientific award for young scientists.
On January 23, the President of Ukraine Award was presented to Olga MOROZOVA, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Cybersecurity and Intelligent Information Technologies (503) of KhAI.
The award was personally presented by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr ZELENSKYI.
Olga MOROZOVA became the representative of the KhAI team, which included:
- Heorhiy ZEMLYANKA, Doctor of Philosophy, Senior Lecturer of the Department 503 of KhAI,
- Artem TETSKIY, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Department 503 of KhAI.
Also working in the interuniversity team was a representative of Khmelnytskyi National University, Andriy NICHEPORUK, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Systems Programming.
The scientific work, which received high state recognition, proposed the concept and principles of ensuring cybersecurity of computer systems and networks of critical infrastructure facilities, as well as a number of innovative solutions, in particular:
- use of convolutional neural networks to detect malicious software in mobile systems;
- methods for assessing the cybersecurity of web systems using attack trees;
- cybersecurity models of unmanned aerial vehicle fleets.
Olga MOROZOVA commented on the award: "I sincerely thank my co-authors. Together we submitted an extremely relevant work to the competition, which was awarded this award. I would like to express special gratitude to my native alma-mater KhAI and my department 503. It was you who gave me wings to strive for such heights and awards. This award is an important stage and at the same time a powerful incentive to move forward. With even greater responsibility, faith and desire to work for the benefit of science and Ukraine."
