Representatives of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" took part in an extremely important and moving ceremony of presenting state awards (posthumously) to the families of the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
The event was held with the participation of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg SYNEGUBOV, representatives of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the military command, in particular Major General Oleksandr MASKALEV.
The Orders "For Courage" and other high state decorations, presented to the families of the fallen soldiers, became a symbol of the deep gratitude of the Ukrainian people to their Heroes. Each award in the hands of mothers, wives, fathers and children is not only state recognition, but also a living memory of courage, bravery and the highest self-sacrifice for the freedom of Ukraine.
For the university community, participation in this ceremony is the fulfillment of a sacred duty of memory and honor. Those present honored the bright memory of the fallen defenders with a minute of silence. Their feat will forever remain a reminder of who thanks to whom we have the opportunity to live, study, work and build a future in free Ukraine.
We express special words of deep respect and sincere condolences to the family of Volodymyr SOSNOVSKY — a teacher at the IT College of KhAI. His parents were awarded the state decoration — the Knight's Cross medal — for courage, heroism and selfless defense of Ukraine.
