In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, on February 27, the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” will hold elections for the rector of the university.
Today, another key stage of the electoral process took place at KhAI — the election of delegates to participate in the voting from the university’s structural units.
Groups of full-time employees of structural units who are not scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical employees joined the voting in order to elect their representatives to participate in the university’s rector elections.
Already during the start of the vote counting in the KhAI area, an emergency power outage occurred — a direct consequence of the morning shelling of Kharkiv. Despite this, the electoral process was not stopped: the organizers prepared in advance for possible emergencies.
Powerful lanterns were promptly used in the hall, which made it possible to continue the vote counting continuously, and later the university generators were connected to work. All actions were carried out quickly, harmoniously and professionally.
Pride for KhAI is a university hardened by wartime.
The electoral process at KhAI continues.
The university is confidently moving towards holding the rector elections, preserving traditions, responsibility and faith in the future.
