On April 22, KhAI presented the popular science project “Universe of Knowledge” for high school students of Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv.
The meeting with university teachers and scientists took place in the underground school of Lyceum No. 152. More than 70 students from the five largest Lyceums of the district gathered here — to see science not in textbooks, but in person.
What was shown to the schoolchildren:
- a model of an airplane with digital support
- robotic programmed cars
- “beetle robot”
- an unstable object control stand (reverse pendulum)
- a “tailless” control surface control stand
- a robot manipulator
- a satellite and a rocket
- rocket engines
- an autonomous headset of mixed and virtual reality
- a banknote counter, currency detector and polygraph
This was the format when complex things become understandable, and engineering becomes fascinating.
The event was organized by the Department of Education of the Kholodnohirsky District Administration of the Kharkiv City Council together with the Preparatory Department of KhAI in cooperation with all faculties of the university with the support of the management.
KhAI continues to open the world of technology to schoolchildren - step by step, from interest to a conscious choice of the future.
