On March 14, an online intensive “Become a student of the Department of Cybersecurity and Intelligent Information Technologies for a Day” was held, which gave high school students and future applicants the opportunity to look into the world of modern IT technologies and feel the atmosphere of studying at the Kharkiv Aviation Institute.
The event was opened by the head of department 503, Professor Vyacheslav Kharchenko, and the coordinator of educational projects of the Kharkiv IT Cluster, Anastasia Tarabanova. They emphasized that modern technical education is not only knowledge from textbooks, but above all opportunities, practical skills and a community of like-minded people.
During the intensive, the participants listened to a series of short speeches dedicated to current IT trends:
- Marina Ganzera spoke about the possibilities of neural networks - technologies that are becoming our “digital eyes” today.
- Daniil Klyushnikov showed the path of creating computer games - from the first idea to a full-fledged virtual world.
- Ilya Mitsyk presented developments related to FPV drones and systems for predicting their technical malfunctions.
- Yan Deyneko explained why cybersecurity is much more than protection against hacker attacks.
- Denis Lugovtsov shared his own story - how the path from an applicant can lead to participation in the international Erasmus+ program.
