National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" has once again confirmed its presence among world-class universities, maintaining its positions in the international ranking Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026.
According to the results of the ranking, KhAI is represented in three categories at once:
World University Rankings 2026 — 1501+
Computer Science — 1001+ (2nd place among Ukrainian universities)
Engineering — 1251+ (6th place among Ukrainian universities)
It is especially valuable that the university has maintained its positions in the ranking, which is becoming more and more competitive every year. At a time when universities from all over the world are actively increasing scientific activity, international cooperation and investments in education, Khai's stable presence in the Times Higher Education ranking is evidence of the university's systematic work and recognition of its academic potential.
The THE ranking evaluates universities according to a set of indicators, including:
- teaching quality;
- research environment;
- quality and impact of scientific research;
- collaboration with industry;
- level of international activity.
Despite all the challenges that Ukrainian higher education is facing today, KhAI continues to remain part of the global academic space, developing education, science, and international partnership.
