The Department of Document Studies and Information Activities of KhAI (No. 705) held a meeting with stakeholders of educational programs of the specialty B13 "Library, Information and Archival Affairs". It was a conversation much broader than formal reports or nostalgic memories.
The meeting turned into a sincere and meaningful dialogue about the continuity of generations - about the path from the first student day of the bachelor's degree to professional development, master's degree and real work. Graduates of different years shared their own experience: what exactly the KhAI educational program gave them, what opportunities it opened up and what should be strengthened, updated or reconsidered so that future students could adapt more easily and confidently start their professional life.
The vision of those who have already realized themselves in various fields - from civil service and digitalization to international librarianship and military service was especially valuable.
Graduates of the department shared their experience:
- Anastasia LYUBCHYCH (class of 2023) — Chief Specialist of the Personnel Department of the Kharkiv Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. Civil service as a space of responsibility, influence and trust.
- Olena BEREZHNA (class of 2022) — Chief Specialist for Digitization of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (Mykolaiv). Accuracy, systematicity and contribution to the digital future of the social sphere.
- Iryna KAZARTSEVA (class of 2022) — Librarian at Tønsberg og Færder bibliotek (Norway), Department of Cultural Facilitation and Mediation. International experience, culture of dialogue and working with people as the heart of the profession.
- Natalia GUCHENKO (class of 2024) - officer of the department of psychological and documentation and legal support of personnel of military unit A4698, senior lieutenant of the combat brigade. Service and professional support where it is vitally necessary.
- Olena HRYNSHPUN (class of 2024) - Kharkiv branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. A combination of organizational skills, sports values, and work at the national level.
Such meetings are a live demonstration of how Khai knowledge works in the real world, forming specialists capable of responding to the challenges of the time.
