Meeting of the Acting Rector with students

Meeting of the Acting Rector with students

Yesterday, the university hosted a meeting between the acting rector and students of KhAI. The conversation took place in an open dialogue format and became an important opportunity to discuss current issues of student life.

During the meeting, the topics that are of greatest concern to students today were raised: the format of study, scholarship provision, security conditions, organization of the schedule, internships, and military training.

Students traditionally asked about the prospects for returning to full-fledged offline studies and the possibility of increasing scholarships. It was noted that the university is working on finding internal reserves, but the importance of responsible and effective participation of students in the educational process was emphasized. Regarding the full transition to the offline format, the decision will depend primarily on the security situation; currently, the educational process continues in a mixed mode.

Special attention was paid to the issue of arranging a safe space in the college buildings. The university management reported on plans to resolve this issue within the year.

The student self-government initiative initiated a discussion on the possibility of increasing scholarships for student activists. It was proposed to prepare appropriate proposals for consideration at a meeting of the Academic Council, which also includes student representatives.

The challenges of wartime were also discussed, in particular, situations when individual students are unable to physically attend classes with their academic group. It was emphasized that the university is ready to quickly find flexible solutions, in particular regarding the possibility of including other groups in classes.

Students expressed suggestions for improving the class schedule, taking into account logistical difficulties and energy limitations. All comments and initiatives have been taken into consideration.

A separate question concerned the strategic vision of the university's development for the next five years. The Acting Rector emphasized that the main priority remains ensuring the stable operation of KhAI even in wartime conditions - with maximum efficiency, comfort and safety for students and employees.

The meeting lasted over an hour and demonstrated a willingness for open dialogue and joint search for solutions. The university continues to work to justify the trust of students and provide quality education during a difficult period for the country.
