The last decade of December 2025 at the Department of Software Engineering (Department 603) became a real marathon of intelligence and innovation. 38 masters of the educational and professional program "Software Engineering" successfully defended their qualification theses!
This year's research is not just theory, but real answers to the challenges of the modern IT industry: from hardware and software solutions based on microcontrollers to intelligent educational systems.

The energy of iron and code
Ivan IOVENKO (scientific supervisor - Prof. Igor TURKIN) performed an experimental comparative analysis of the reactivity of microcontrollers. The results of the study were used in a scientific publication in the prestigious Springer publishing house (Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series), which is indexed in the Scopus scientometric database. This is a level that the university is truly proud of!
Web Interface Speed
Dmytro BELOV (supervisor — Assoc. Prof. Volodymyr SERGIENKO) investigated the impact of different types of rendering on the performance and loading time of front-end applications. The results of the work were presented at the 5th scientific and practical Internet conference "Cosmic Horizons" (Dnipro).
UI/UX, user experience and scientific drive
Dmytro CHERKASOV (supervisor — Assoc. Prof. Yulia KUZNETSOVA) performed an experimental study of methodologies and tools for UI/UX design of web applications. He became the record holder for the number of publications: the results of his research were presented at international scientific conferences in Edinburgh (Scotland), Antwerp (Belgium) and Wroclaw (Poland).
Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Education
Danylo FILATOV (scientific supervisor — Prof. Andriy CHUKHRAY) developed an intelligent computer program for teaching the Cramer method. The work received 10 positive reviews, including from experts from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA), the Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland) and the German company INFORMA GMBH. The development has already been implemented in the educational process of the department.
