The technologies that Ukraine is developing and improving in wartime are of great interest worldwide today. This is especially true for unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, and computer vision, which are rapidly changing approaches to solving complex engineering problems.

At the invitation of Riga Technical University, the Dean of the Faculty of Aircraft Engineering of the KhAI Dmytro KRYTSKYI, as part of the academic mobility program, held a series of lectures for students in the discipline of “Computer Vision” on the topic “Using Computer Vision Technologies in Modern Drones”.

During the classes, the students got acquainted with modern approaches to the use of computer vision technologies in unmanned aerial vehicles. Special attention was paid to the issues of autonomous navigation, object recognition, and real-time data analysis — areas that are actively developing in Ukraine today and are becoming increasingly important in the world.

The visit became an important scientific event. Representatives of the Department of Aerohydrodynamics of Khai and the Department of Aerospace Research of Riga Technical University have agreed to prepare and submit a joint international scientific project.

This is how new ideas and partnerships are born that will determine the development of the aerospace industry tomorrow.
