The Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering (No. 305) of KhAI has taken another important step in the development of modern engineering education. The university has already received specialized equipment for the creation of the Industrial Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory, which is being implemented within the framework of the project "Industrial Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory: a modern learning space for future engineers".
The project became the winner of the International skill.ED competition and received support from the Kronospan Foundation. Its main goal is to modernize technical education by introducing Industry 4.0 technologies, creating a modern space for learning, scientific research and implementing student projects.
Thanks to the funding of the fund in the amount of 9995 euros, the department received a set of modern equipment, including:
- mechatronic system "6-axis robot 9V";
- mechatronic station "Sorting line";
- the training system "Hightech Programming";
- five modern controllers ROBOTICS TXT 4.0 Fischertechnik.
Currently, the laboratory complex is being set up. Not only the department's teachers, but also students who participate in the installation, testing and preparation of equipment for work have actively participated in this work. This allows future engineers to gain practical skills in working with modern robotic and mechatronic systems at the stage of creating the laboratory.
This academic year, a new generation of students will study in the modern Laboratory of Industrial Robotics and Mechatronics. It will become a center of engineering creativity, scientific research and practical training, where future specialists will work with industrial robots, mechatronic complexes and Industry 4.0 technologies.
The laboratory will also become a platform for implementing student projects, conducting STEM events, hackathons, and career guidance work with schoolchildren, opening up new opportunities for the development of modern engineering education at KhAI.
