On March 20, the IV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Current Issues of Physical Education, Sports, Healthy Lifestyle and Quality of Life of Different Populations” was successfully held at KhAI. The organizer of the event is the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Rehabilitation (802).
Despite modern challenges, the conference has become a powerful platform for the exchange of experience between scientists, trainers and industry specialists.
The event was held in a remote format and brought together representatives of the scientific community of Ukraine and the European Union:
- 162 specialists, including scientific and pedagogical workers, trainers, postgraduates and students, participated in the work;
- 103 abstracts of reports were prepared based on the results of the conference;
- in addition to representatives of many cities of Ukraine (Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kropyvnytskyi, Lutsk, Uzhgorod, Poltava, etc.), partners from Poland (the cities of Gdansk, Starogard-Gdanskyi and Grudzjondz) took an active part.
The conference was opened by the chairman of the organizing committee, acting rector of KhAI, Professor Oleksii LYTVYNOV. Representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the university management and leading scientists of Polish partner institutions delivered welcoming remarks.
Scientific discussions took place within four profile sections:
1. Physical education and physical activity: discussion of digitalization of education, implementation of personalized approaches and new methods in schools and higher education institutions.
2. Training of athletes and urban sports: from innovative means of automated fitness control to the century-old evolution of the Olympic Games.
3. Physical rehabilitation and quality of life: special attention was paid to the recovery of military personnel and athletes, physical therapy and psychological resilience in wartime.
4. Social adaptation and inclusion: consideration of issues of barrier-free education and resocialization of persons with special educational needs through sports.
“Today, physical culture and sports are not just disciplines, but a powerful means of maintaining health, psychological resilience and quality of life in conditions of combined stress,” said Oleksandra BAKANOVA, head of department No. 802, in her closing remarks.
Based on the results of the work, an electronic collection of scientific theses was formed, which became a significant contribution to the development of modern sports science. All participants of the conference received personalized certificates.
The Organizing Committee, headed by the program organizer Liliana RYADOVA, expresses sincere gratitude to all partners and participants for their fruitful cooperation and dedication to the development of science.
