The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has published the main rules and the calendar of the 2026 admission campaign - the most important information to help future entrants navigate the new rules and not miss key stages of admission.
What is important for entrants to know:
- letters of motivation as a component of the admission application have been canceled — in 2026, they do not need to be submitted;
- you can submit up to 10 applications, of which no more than 5 are for state procurement (budget). For each application, it is necessary to determine the priority, which cannot be changed after submission;
- to participate in the competitive selection for the bachelor's degree, you can use the results of the NMT of 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026;
- the results of the 2024, 2025 or 2026 EVI and the 2025 or 2026 EFVV can be used for admission to the master's degree;
- during admission to the master's degree, the priority system of applications is now applied not only to the budgetary, but also to the contractual form of education.
Calendar of the entrant to the bachelor's degree:
July 1 — the beginning of registration of electronic accounts of applicants.
July 3–10 (until 6:00 p.m.) — registration for interviews for entrants eligible for special admission conditions. Registration for contract entry only lasts until July 25.
July 19 — the beginning of submitting applications to institutions of higher education.
August 1 (until 6:00 p.m.) — application deadline.
No later than August 6 — publication of recommendations for inclusion in the budget.
Until August 11 (until 6:00 p.m.) — fulfillment of enrollment requirements by entrants recommended for the budget.
Until August 13, enrollment of entrants to the budget and contract based on applications with priority.
