From June 14 to 17, an international summit was held in Brno (Czech Republic) at Masaryk University as part of the project “Research Infrastructures for the Future of Ukraine: Roadmap for Sustained Growth and Recovery (RIFF)”, dedicated to the development of Ukraine’s scientific infrastructure and its integration into the European research space.
100 Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical workers were selected on a competitive basis to participate in the event. The National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” was represented at the summit by the Dean of the Faculty of Aircraft Engineering, Dmytro KRYTSKYI.
The summit participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern scientific infrastructure of Masaryk University, learn about new international scientific programs and competitions, and discuss the prospects for the development of research infrastructure in Ukraine.
Particular attention was paid to the work of the thematic section "Data, Computing, and Digital Research Infrastructures", which considered the issues of creating and developing high-performance computing systems (High Performance Computing, HPC), computing clusters, digital platforms and modern tools for conducting scientific research.
Exchanging experience with European colleagues and getting acquainted with modern research infrastructures open up new opportunities for the development of Khai's scientific areas related to digital technologies, modeling of complex processes and processing of large data sets.
