The Department of Cybersecurity and Intelligent Information Technologies (503) hosted a meeting of the International Monthly Scientific and Technical Seminar "Critical Computer Technologies and Systems". This time it became a special event - a platform for the presentation and public discussion of the dissertations of five graduate students who began their journey at KhAI in 2022 and successfully completed their research.
The first day was devoted to works in the specialty "Computer Engineering":
- Yevgeny KANARSKY (scientific supervisor - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Prof. O. Orekhov) presented a study of methods for assessing the quality of human-machine interfaces using augmented reality for unmanned systems for monitoring potentially dangerous areas;
- Stanislav SKOROBOGATKO (scientific supervisor - Dr. Tech. Sciences, Prof. G Fesenko) - models and software tools for assessing the reliability of hybrid sensor networks;
- Vladislav SHCHEGLOV (scientific supervisor - Dr. Tech. Sciences, Prof. O. Morozova) - intelligent systems for diagnosing industrial equipment based on the industrial Internet of Things and digital twins.
The next day brought together research in the field of "Cybersecurity and Information Protection" (scientific supervisor - Dr. Tech. Sciences, Prof. V. Kharchenko):
- Artem ABAKUMOV presented methods for combined intrusion analysis and penetration testing for unmanned aircraft systems;
- Oleksiy NERETIN - approaches to cybersecurity analysis and protection of large language models from the generation of prohibited content on local and cloud servers.
More than 170 specialists from leading universities of Ukraine joined the discussion.
The relevance of the topics, the interdisciplinary nature of the approaches, and the practical focus of the research aroused wide interest and professional feedback.
The next stage is ahead: preparation for the defense.
The seminar was traditionally broadcast online, which made it possible to expand the audience and include scientists from different cities in the discussion.
