Yesterday, Kharkiv welcomed its first-year students with their initiation into students. The National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" joined the celebration. And on stage, among the university groups, the Kharkiv Aviation Institute Orchestra performed.
The traditional festivities were attended by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Synegubov, the Head of the Regional Council Tetyana Yegorova-Lutsenko, and the Head of the Kharkiv Youth Congress Maria Bella Beygel.
Currently, the network of higher education institutions in the Kharkiv region includes 21 institutions. During the 2026 admission campaign, 19,032 applicants have already been enrolled at the bachelor's level, and 10,106 at the master's level. The acceptance of documents is ongoing.
In total, there are about 99 thousand students in the region's higher education institutions, of which more than 27 thousand are studying in full-time and mixed formats.
This year, Kharkiv Aviation Institute is among the leaders in enrollment. During the admission campaign, a large-scale work was carried out, the result of which we record today: more than 5,000 applications were submitted to our university. And this is the leadership that professionals are working on.
