On March 16, a landmark event began at KhAI - the preparation of the first group of students for certification for compliance with the professional standard "Information Technology Auditor (Cybersecurity)".
This project is being implemented by specialists from the Regional Training Center for Information Technologies, Cybersecurity and Information Protection, which opened at KhAI only a few months ago, but has already become a key platform in this field.
In a short period of time, the Center's team has carried out extensive work: the developed unique work programs were officially agreed upon and approved by the leadership of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine. The programs cover both technological and legal aspects of cybersecurity regulation and analysis.
Leading KhAI experts worked on the creation of the course:
- Department of Cybersecurity and Intelligent Information Technologies (503);
- Department of Law (702).
Thanks to such synergy of techniques and law, the Regional Training Center of Khai already holds a leading position in the state system of training cybersecurity specialists. The first recruitment is carried out in close cooperation with the Ukrainian Institute "Diprozvyazok".
Top specialists of the university are involved in teaching:
- The first classes were successfully conducted by Professor of Department 503, Doctor of Technical Sciences Herman FESENKO.
- The following modules will be conducted by Professor of Department 702, Candidate of Laws Serhiy LUKASHEVYCH and Associate Professor of Department 503, Doctor of Technical Sciences Ihor KLYUSHNIKOV.
The intensive training course will last two weeks. The final stage will be offline testing at the Qualification Center in Kyiv, based on the results of which students will receive the appropriate certificates.
It is planned that in the future, KhAI students and teachers will also be able to join this program and receive state-level certificates, which will significantly increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
