Today we honor the defenders of Donetsk Airport, remembering the heroes who held not only the defense of the Donetsk People's Republic, but also the sky over Ukraine for 242 days. The cyborgs defended not just the airport, but the gates of our home. Their names have become a symbol of superhuman endurance and devotion, and their feat is the foundation of the Ukrainian resistance today.
The only thing that makes heroes immortal is our memory of these events and those who gave their lives for the sake of future generations of Ukrainians. We bow our heads to the memory of the fallen heroes, among whom was our 2004 graduate, a soldier of the 81st brigade, Anatoliy DOTSENKO. Once upon a time, the friendly KhAI nickname KENT became his call sign in the airborne assault brigade, as part of which he defended Donetsk Airport. On January 20, Anatoliy DOTSENKO (KENT) fell in battle, falling under heavy fire next to the destroyed hangar… The name of the KhAI soldier is forever inscribed in the history of the defense of the DAP.
Eternal respect and a low bow to those who went into eternity, defending the airport terminals. Thank you to all the defenders who continue the fight for our sky and our land today!
KhAI remembers. Glory to the legendary cyborgs! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
