In memory of Mykola Belyavsky

In memory of Mykola Belyavsky

Sad news comes later. Sometimes — after months. Sometimes — after years.

But each of them — like a new wound in the heart of the university.

It happened back in May…

Another portrait on the mournful ceiling will become more.

Another name will be added to the list of those before whom KhAI will bow its head until the end of its days — in gratitude, sorrow and memory.

Mykola Belyavsky. Graduate of the Faculty of Rocket and Space Engineering of KhAI.

Born in the Donetsk region and gave the most precious thing for it — his life.

Mykola was born on February 2, 1996 in the city of Horlivka, Donetsk region.

In 2009, he moved with his family to the village of Borshchivka, Izyum district, Kharkiv region, where he studied at a local school.

Cheerful, easy-going character. Always friendly, always smiling, and most importantly, he had a big heart and knew how to support those around him, even in the most difficult moments.

He was also known as such at Kharkiv Institute of Information Technology, where he studied Geoinformation Systems and Technologies.

He graduated in 2021. He worked in a private company, remained caring, sincere, and fair - this is how his colleagues and friends remember him.

With the beginning of a full-scale war, Mykola actively joined the volunteer movement, supported the army, and later joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, standing up for his native land.

He courageously carried out combat missions, remaining devoted to his cause and faith in Victory.

On May 22, 2025, Mykola Belyavskyi took on his last battle...

Farewell to the Hero took place on May 29 in Kyiv.

Mykola is survived by his father, wife, sister and three brothers.

Two of them are also defending Ukraine today.

Graduate of KhAI. Defender of Ukraine. A man who lived according to his conscience.

Mykola Belyavsky. 29 years old.

May your memory be bright, soldier.

And a low bow from all of KhAI…
