Honorable guests came to KhAI

On May 26, our university was visited by experts from the Department of Scientific and Information Support of Innovative Processes of the KhDNB named after V. G. Korolenko, representatives of the Kharkiv Regional Council of the Society of Inventors and Rationalizers of Ukraine, as well as veterans of the Kharkiv Aviation Plant, Komunar NGO, activists of the local history public association "Know and Love Your Country". The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the modern KhAI and a tour of the exhibition hall and the renewed Museum of the History of the KhAI.

The event took place within the aerospace direction of the department and was combined with an excursion for library users. The group was joined by 25 participants who had the opportunity to familiarize themselves not only with the new museum exposition, but also with the modern safe spaces of the university, created for students and teachers in wartime conditions.

The new museum space has become a modern interactive platform that combines the history of the university, aviation and space science with modern design solutions and multimedia tools. Thanks to special floor and ceiling coverings in the room, the effect of outer space is created, which enhances the emotional perception of the exhibition and creates a feeling of immersion in the world of aviation and cosmonautics.

During the visit, special attention was paid to the safe underground spaces arranged in the KhAI — classrooms, laboratories and training areas, where classes are held today. Visitors had the opportunity to visit underground auditoriums and even try aviation simulators, including a Boeing 747 simulator.

The participants of the event noted the high level of organization of the museum, the modern approach to the presentation of the material, and the extremely meaningful tour support. Shamsiya Musaeva's deep knowledge of the history of the university, aviation and cosmonautics, as well as her skillful command of the Ukrainian language and ability to work emotionally and professionally with the audience caused special admiration.

Welcome to KhAI!
