Do you have ideas in the field of artificial intelligence, computer vision and text recognition? Then this opportunity is for you!
Applications are currently being accepted in Ukraine for the grant program "Grant for AI Innovations in Digitalization", aimed at creating modern solutions for recognizing Ukrainian handwritten documents. The initiative is designed to accelerate the digitalization of government services and promote the development of open tools for document processing.
AI/ML engineers, Data Scientists, researchers, students of technical specialties, startups, R&D teams and university laboratories working with Computer Vision, OCR/HTR, image and text processing technologies are invited to participate.
The maximum grant size is up to 7,000 US dollars.
Within the framework of the program, participants will receive access to a unique set of handwritten documents, mentoring support and AWS Credits for training artificial intelligence models.
The program involves conducting an AI challenge on the Kaggle platform. The online stage will last until June 15, 2026, after which the best teams will be able to present their developments in the final, which will be held on July 4 in Kyiv.
The organizers will pay special attention to solutions that demonstrate high recognition accuracy, scalability and potential for practical implementation in government digital services.
The deadline for submitting applications is June 15, 2026.
