National Aerospace University «KhAI» won a grant for the implementation of the project «Laboratory of Industrial Robotics and Mechatronics: a modern educational space for future engineers» from the Kronospan Foundation within the framework of the Skill.ED-2025 International Project Competition. The Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering (305) initiated participation in this grant, and also performed a significant amount of organizational, scientific-methodical and project work, the result of which was the receipt of well-deserved grant support.
The purpose of this grant is to support general, vocational and technical education regardless of sector.
«Industrial Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory: A state-of-the-art training space for future engineers» aims to create an educational center that combines science, engineering and digital technology to train a new generation of specialists.
The Kronospan Foundation will finance the purchase of specialized equipment for the laboratory, which will be used to purchase the "6-axis robot 9V" mechatronic system, a training complex for the creation of automated production systems with a camera, pneumatic cylinders and photo sensors, a set for training microprocessor programming and building mechatronic systems, central control modules equipped with a touch display, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and the ROBO Pro Coding system.
The project is aimed at applicants studying under bachelor's and master's programs in the specialties «Computer-integrated technological processes and production» and «Computer-integrated automation and control systems»; teachers of technical disciplines who will implement modern STEM methods in the educational process; school students and college students - participants in career guidance classes, clubs and competitions.
The laboratory will become an open platform for master classes, hackathons and robotics exhibitions, creating a real environment for the professional growth of young people.
