KhAI Institute of Technology and the Department of Cybersecurity and Intelligent Information Technologies (503) are organizing the Global Game Jam World Game Hackathon location for the tenth time.
During this time, more than a hundred teams from KhAI, universities and colleges of Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipro, Poltava and other cities of Ukraine have joined the exciting competitions of creativity, technology and IT art.
For many participants, Global Game Jam became a starting point in the profession: today among them are famous developers, IT entrepreneurs, leaders of the gaming and game dev movement.
It is especially pleasant to remember the graduates of the department - Mykola MOZHOVOVI and Andriy KULYAGIN, who at one time led this movement as coordinators of the hackathon at the Kharkiv location of Khai Institute.
Today, the baton was taken by Pavlo MUSAEV, a 4th year student of the Computer Engineering specialty.
Gaming technologies today are more than entertainment.
In wartime, these include:
- gamification technologies for training UAV operators and mission planners;
- augmented reality solutions for demining tasks;
- simulation, modeling and training tools.
That is why participation in the Global Game Jam is not only about creativity, but also about real technologies of the future.
Everyone is invited to participate: students, graduate students, teachers.
