Today, January 28, the General Meeting of University Students was held. Delegates to the meeting were elected at the general meeting of students of 8 faculties and the IT College.
The following issues were announced on the agenda:
1. Approval of representatives of the election committee from among students to participate in the elections of the rector of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute".
2. Approval of changes to the Regulations on the procedure for electing elected representatives from among students to participate in the elections of the rector of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" (hereinafter the Regulations).
Both items were adopted by a majority vote.

The commission begins its work on January 29 and will later publish the procedure for electing delegates from among students for the rector's elections.
Changes that were made to the Regulations:
1. Students who wish to be included in the voter list must exercise their will on election day.
Which means - they must be physically present on voting day, February 27, 2026, in the city of Kharkiv and vote at the polling station.
2. In the event that a faculty does not collect a quota of delegates to the list of voters for voting, other faculties may choose the vacant places according to the rating principle.
