Almost a year ago, on the occasion of its 95th anniversary, our university presented a unique publication - a photo album "Chronicle of the Wartime KhAI: a University Tempered by War". The chronicle covers the period of KhAI's life from 2022 to 2025. The photo album contains rare photographs and documents that testify to the life and struggle, to the daily feat of the front-line university.
Recently, a copy of this publication was received by our good partners from Italy - the Polytechnic University of Bari (Politecnico di Bari).
This gift copy was signed by the Acting Rector of KhAI Oleksii LYTVYNOV. He signed not only as the head of the university, but also as the author of this book.
The honorary mission of presenting the gift was performed by Olga POGUDINA, an associate professor of the Department of Information Technology Design, a doctoral student of the National Program PhD Autonomous Systems. She personally handed over the edition to the Vice-Rector of the Polytechnic of Bari, Professor Michele Ruta.
It is important that it was not just a gift edition that was handed over. Olga, a native of Kharkiv, and her family went through the trials of war, which are reflected in the pages of this chronicle.
We sincerely thank our friends and partners from the Politecnico di Bari for joint scientific and educational projects.
But above all, we thank you for your support and reliable friendly shoulder. This is extremely important for the university, which has been working, teaching, living and dreaming about the future for the fifth year in a row just 20 kilometers from the front line.
