Every Ukrainian remembers the events of February 24, 2022 with a heavy heart...
It was on this day that the country woke up to the sounds of war, from alarming calls and messages that changed life forever.... We will always remember the despair and pain that we felt then and still cannot describe in words, just as we will never find an answer to the question "For what?" that arose on that ominous morning four years ago...
The phones were bursting with notifications to relatives, friends, acquaintances, colleagues - at that moment, every adult felt the most important meanings in their lives, and children and youth grew up in a matter of days, never fully experiencing the carefreeness of childhood and youth. The only consolation then was blessed faith, hope and wisdom - such simple and at the same time strong truths supported our spirit: faith in people and the Armed Forces of Ukraine; hope that good will certainly triumph over evil; the wisdom of being united and supporting each other, remaining human even in the darkest times.
We, like four years ago, know that it is worth believing in people, because our military, rescuers, utility workers, doctors and teachers prove this to us every day by their example. We love even more, we express our feelings more passionately, because we know that any word can be the last because of the deadly threat of constant shelling by KABs, missiles and drones...
The full-scale invasion has become a pain that is still impossible to fully comprehend in words.
They are trying to break us morally, they are killing us, seeking to destroy the Ukrainian nation, they are threatening us for disobedience and striving for independence... We mourn those who died in this unjust and unlawful struggle... And we also believe, are full of hope, love and become wiser in order to preserve our free and peaceful future, and we also bow our heads and thank all who fight for our freedom!
Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
