An exhibition dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, who died in the struggle for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state, has opened in the Scientific and Technical Library of the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”.
The central place of the exposition is 86 faces. Students, teachers, employees and graduates of KhAI, whose lives were taken by this damned war - starting from the spring of 2014 and until today.
Behind each face - life, family, friends, dreams. People who were there yesterday...

Perhaps among them you will recognize your friend, classmate, teacher, colleague or just an acquaintance. You will see those to whom you owe the opportunity to live, study and work today.
The exhibition presents books and historical publications, as well as a unique album “Chronicles of Khai Wartime”, which was published on the eve of last year.
There are also special exhibits here - books from the library's collections, pierced by fragments of enemy shells and drones.
The first to visit the exhibition were KhAI Rector Oleksii LYTVYNOV, Vice-Rector Hennadii DERKACHIVSKYI and university employees.
“This is all part of our lives. Because today each of us has our own story of this war,” said KhAI Rector Oleksii LYTVYNOV.
This exhibition is for those who studied at KhAI, for those who work here today, and for those who will say about themselves for the first time on September 1: “I am a KhAI student.”

And, perhaps most importantly, when we look into these eyes, we never forget the price we pay for each day we have today.
