On February 27, 2026, the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" held elections for the rector.
- The number of people who had the right to participate in the elections - 848
- The number of people who took part in the vote - 664
Thus, 78% of voters took part in the vote, which exceeds the required 50 percent threshold. The elections were held.
Voting results:
Vitaly Zaitsev — 110 votes (12.97% of the total number of voters)
Oleksiy Lytvynov — 507 votes (59.78% of the total number of voters)
In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 726 of December 5, 2014 and the internal regulations of the university, Oleksiy Lytvynov was elected the winner of the election for the position of rector of the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”.
