East and West together: KhAI and UzhNU begin cooperation in the field of military training and national resistance.
The Department of Military Training and National Resistance of KHAI and the Department of Military Training of Uzhgorod National University have started cooperation, which opens up new opportunities for the development of military education and training of young people for the defense of Ukraine.
This partnership is a symbol of the unity of our state — from the front-line Kharkiv to Transcarpathia. It involves the exchange of experience, modern training methods and best practices of military training.
The main areas of cooperation will be:
- joint improvement of educational programs and educational and methodological materials taking into account the modern combat experience of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- conducting scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables and trainings for scientific and pedagogical workers;
- exchange of practical experience in the organization of national resistance, which Kharkiv specialists gained in the conditions of close proximity to the combat zone;
- organization of joint online lectures, educational meetings and military-applied competitions for students of Khai Khai and UzhNU.
The head of the department of military training and national resistance of KhAI, retired colonel Vitaly Ryutin, noted: "Kharkiv today is an outpost of Ukraine. Our experience in matters of national resistance was gained in extremely difficult conditions. We are happy to share it with our colleagues from Uzhhorod, because the protection of the state is our common cause. At the same time, we are interested in adopting successful approaches to the organization of the educational process and the military-patriotic upbringing of youth."
The head of the Department of Military Training of UzhNU, retired Major General Mykola POPELSKY, emphasized: "Cooperation with the KhAI Military Academy is an important step for our department. Combining the experience of our universities will improve the quality of military training of students. Such a bridge between East and West makes Ukraine stronger."
Today, preparing citizens for the defense of Ukraine and forming a personnel military reserve is one of the key tasks of higher education institutions. By combining their knowledge, experience, and work experience, KhAI and UzhNU create a solid foundation for training a new generation of specialists who will combine modern theoretical knowledge with practical skills necessary for the protection of the state.
