DOU Awards is an annual award from DOU.ua, the largest Ukrainian community of developers, which recognizes outstanding achievements, innovative projects and initiatives that make a significant contribution to the Ukrainian IT industry and bring Ukraine closer to victory.
The purpose of the award is to show the best in the industry and inspire the creation of something new.
Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Artificial Intelligence (304) of the KhAI Dmytro CHUMACHENKO — Head of the Ukrainian Scientific and Educational IT Society, co-creator of national recommendations for the use of AI in education — reported on an important event: the "Big Course on AI in Education", which we implemented together with PROGRESSIVE (the largest association of educators, public administrators and public activists in Ukraine), was nominated for the DOU Awards in the category "Best Socially Oriented IT Initiative".
During this time:
A community of teachers has been formed who are already using AI for:
- modern formats of educational tasks;
- better feedback with students;
- transparent and fair rules for using AI in the classroom.
This course is about qualitative and systemic changes in Ukrainian higher education.
