On June 2, meetings of one-time specialized academic councils for the defense of dissertation research for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 081 "Law" were held in a mixed format.
In the specialized academic council of DF 55, Dmytro KALYUZHNY successfully defended his dissertation on the topic "Theoretical and legal principles of the implementation and use of information and communication technologies in the activities of law enforcement agencies." The research is devoted to the current issues of digitalization of law enforcement agencies and the implementation of modern information and communication technologies.
In the specialized academic council of DF 56, Yevhen BEREZHNY's dissertation defense on the topic "Criminal legal and criminological principles of preventing the destruction, forgery or replacement of vehicle unit and assembly numbers" was held. The work is devoted to issues of criminal liability and prevention of offenses in the field of vehicle identification.
The chairman of both specialized councils was Vitaliy PAVLYKIVSKY, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Law Department of Kharkiv Institute of Law.
