Today, June 17, Kharkiv is in mourning.
The city bows its heads in memory of the five Heroes who died while eliminating the consequences of the Russian attack on the night of June 15.
Among them are an employee of the Kharkiv City Council’s Department of Emergency Situations Oleksiy Dorozhkin and four rescuers of the State Emergency Service: Dmytriy Boyko, Danylo Tishchenko, Serhiy Makovetskyi and Vadym Zinchenko.
They died while performing their duty and saving others.
This is our common pain. The pain of a city that is held together every day thanks to people who are ready to come to the rescue even under enemy fire.
Please take a minute today to stop, remember these names and mentally thank everyone who protects us every day under fire.
