The National Research Foundation of Ukraine has published a ranking list of projects based on the results of the competition “Advanced Science in Ukraine 2026–2028”. This competition is one of the most prestigious in the country, as its goal is to support the best fundamental research that is critical for the development of science and technology in the coming years.
According to the results of an independent expert assessment, the projects of our university demonstrated a high level of scientific novelty, relevance and applied potential.
We are particularly proud of the result of the project under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies named after O.O. Zelensky, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr LUKIN.
Project title: “Development of effective methods and means of extracting useful information from data of observation of the Earth’s surface from aircraft” (registration number 2025.07/0253).
The project received an average score of 97 points.
Among hundreds of submitted projects from all over Ukraine, the research of KhAI scientists took 16TH PLACE IN THE OVERALL RATING!
This success confirms KhAI's status as one of the leading centers in Ukraine in the field of developing intelligent aerospace monitoring systems and remote sensing data processing.
